What we do

BlueChimps is a school supply vendor built around how districts actually buy. Schools purchase on a purchase order, against a budget, with approval chains and receiving paperwork — not with a credit card at checkout. Most suppliers treat that as an exception. We treat it as the normal case.

How ordering works

1. Build a quote. Add what you need from the catalog. If an item isn’t listed, ask us to price it — we source from multiple vendors, not one shelf.
2. Get one quote for all of it. Everything on a single document with tax and shipping worked out, ready to attach to a requisition.
3. Send the purchase order. Approve the quote and send the PO. No card, no pre-payment.
4. Receive the goods. You’re invoiced against the PO on the district’s normal terms.

Sourcing

We compile items from multiple vendors and specialty suppliers into a single quote, so a list that would otherwise mean four purchase orders to four companies becomes one. BlueChimps is proud to support local vendors in your area.

Who we sell to

K–12 school districts, individual school sites, and the departments inside them. Accounts belong to district staff; there are no student accounts and no student data on this site — the privacy policy covers that in full.
